	Pilkington K Glass™ Better insulation and no cold spots near windows makes Pilkington K Glass™ perfect for conservatories. In fact, it will typically keep an unheated conservatory comfortable for a greater part of the year than ordinary double glazing. Allowing you to make the most of your conservatory all year round. 	Warm-a-Glass™ Warm-a-Glass™ construction uses Pilkington K low emissivity coated glass with integral dual sealed thermally broken spacer bar to create thermally efficient double glazing units. The unique design of the spacer and the material used reduces the hot or cold temperatures from transferring to the inside. Typical U-values (Wm2K) of 1.7 or 1.4 when argon filled is achieved.

The lower the U Value - the better the insulator. U-value is the measurement of heat transfer through a given building material, glass, etc. In the UK all U Values are quoted as W/m²K.
